"My husband and I are pretty regular fixtures at Velasco's. We fell in love the first time we ate there. We asked the server what to eat and he filled us in on the best dish in the place. It's really nice to go to a restaurant feel like you are getting your money's worth. They are our comfort food. Velasco's is just one word, yummy."

Excellent food. Good service. Homey atmosphere and friendly owners. Cinco de Mayo always fun. Good and crowded, but that makes it more friendly.

Our first experience was the waitress forgetting our order, so we ate lots of chips while waiting. But she made up for it with great service and did not mark off our Sonoma Express card, still gave us the 2 for 1 deal, so we could come back and use it. We did come back and the food was still excellent. The $10 combo plate is so much food, we always take some home. The place is very friendly and definitely family welcome. We love it...
